| Very warm welcome to an English traveller in search of good food and beer. The curry I chose from their sizable menu went down well with one of a selection of ales from across the UK. Ginger_Beard - 16 Jun 2007 23:34 |
| From the outside, a typical stone built Welsh roadside inn, but once inside it is clear that quite a bit of money has been spent on the place. Although the bar is only seperated from the lounge by a small partition, the different decoration standards and plush 'chaise lounge' style window seats make them truly seperate area. Pool nd darts are played in the bar. Besides this, there is also a raised resaurant area and play area for kids behind the pub. Allin all, worth a visit. 6 real ales, mainly from smaller breweries, including one from Cornwall, on our visit. Voted 9 Jimbo Smith - 18 Aug 2004 18:36 |
