| Visited August 2002 and June 2006. The Wharf is owned and run by Iain D. Russell, famous beer and real ale enthusiast that also owns Charlie�s Bar in Copenhagen. The very first thing the visitor notes is the specially designed set up of two racks of altogether 18 stillages for real ale casks behind the bar � an impressive sight in itself and all the more thirst inspiring as it indicates that the ales are served by pure and unspoiled gravity dispense. All the ales tasted, both in 2002 and in 2006, were in perfect condition. In addition, The Wharf offers beers from a range of small independent Danish breweries, such as Hancock, Br�ckhouse, Thisted, Refsvindinge, Fuglsang and so forth (no Carlsberg or Tuborg here!) as well as a variety of high quality Belgian, Czech and German beers.
