| Came here for a drink after a very disappointing experience at the Red Lion in Boldre & wished we'd come here first. Much better experience - better atmosphere, same choice of beer & better (& cheaper) food choices. Will definitely return here rather than the pub in Boldre. MagnustheMandrill - 13 Jun 2011 10:32 |
| Hubby and I come here a few times a year (it's over 100 miles from home). It is a splendid clean locals pub that welcomes 'outsiders'. Hubby says beer is always spot on and there is always good basic food and large portions to boot! Good staff and service. Would recommend to anyone in the area as we have yet to find a better pub within 15 - 20 miles of the Turfcutters. 9/10 from us. PissFlap - 23 May 2011 13:44 |
| Oh what a quality pub. Turned up on Saturday for a weekend in the district.., manager and staff very helpful. Reasonable prices , but most of all the manager was so helpful( did I mention that? lol) will be back in Summer.
