Went in while up in Leicester for the football. Cheap beer didnt try the food.
Very dark interior a bit depressing. Decided i needed the toilet. Never been in one with such a smell of stale urine. Clearly management dont care about the comfort of the customer just the profits. Only good for a cheap pint.

Had some Old Peculier that was decidely off but the barmaid replaced it with no questions and asked what I would like as a replacement. As the OP had been more expensive than any of the other ales they served I would have liked reimbursement of the excess but she was busy. The atmosphere isn't great here, although the doormen seemed very friendly. On a Thursday night the entire upstairs section was shut off. Handy for the later opening times than many other places, but really not a great pub.

Went in for the first time a couple of weeks ago albeit at 11am in the morning. Typical Wetherspoons pub and seemed okay. Worthwhile if you want a cheap one!

AS AN EX-DOORMAN FROM THIS BAR YOU SHOULD STEER WELL CLEAR OF WHAT IS POSSIBLY THE WORST PUB IN LEICESTER. ABSOLUTE SH1T HOLE. FULL OF FOREIGNERS AND WANNABE HARD MEN.

A huge bar in the normal JDW style. Cheap drinks and food. The prices can attract a certain type of drinker from around the market place. They have seats and tables outside but, bizarrely, you can't take alcoholic drinks outside and sit at them.
