please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Went here with 5 adults and 7 young children on a summer Saturday - barman very friendly and helpful, beer good, very tolerant of our menagerie. Found all the kids plastic cups and jugs of squash, etc. Food was good quality pub grub - exactly what you want, nothing fancy and keenly priced. Appears to be under new management in the last year - hope that they do well. Attractive village with good walking - worth a visit.

Always a nice visit this one. Real ale choice can be a bit limited but the food is excellent and the atmosphere always good.

This is a really, really lovely pub. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but its amazing inside. Drinks were reasonably priced, staff were friendly, bar is seperated into two areas - one with small screen TV for drinkers and smokers, and the other is for food and non-smoking drinkers. Interior is traditional and very pleasant, nice seating, absolutely huge choice of food on the specials board and standard menu good as well, outside area at rear. A great pub, highly recommended.

lovely pub, even better than the Fordham Arms.

(Actually called The Swan with Two Nicks, not Necks!) The landlord and landlady (Craig & Fleur) are the greatest couple to own a pub you will ever find anywhere, I promise. The pub is excellent for a pint (or several!) and the food is superb, all served with the sort of charm that'll not forget. Beer garden, dartboard & TV (not big screen!) give it that 'real pub' feel. Beware though - if you come here once, you'll keep coming back!!
