Nice place, pleasant staff. Brain's Dark excellent. Good low priced menu. Food sampled and highly commended.

Clean and re-furb since it was torched by a member of staff a few years ago.
Good sized car park and a nice sized rear garden for the smokers.Enville is best option for the dranght drinkers and the usual amount of keg stuff available.
New tennant in charge and hopefully can change the boring menu (which has been for sometime)and perhaps get the pub back to what it was a few years ago.Saturday nights must have the slowest/ignorant staff in the west Midlands.

Not a bad pub at all, even if the decor is a bit odd. Beer was good, locals seemed pretty friendly. Strange nautical theme though for the black-country, i'm sure there is a story behind it some where. Anyway, it's ok for a evenings drinking! Does food, and i'm told it's quite good though i haven't tried it myself.

The pub keeps Enville Ale, normally in good form. The main attraction for me is the large non smoking area which is completly separated from the smoking section. The listing of this pub shows it to be in Birmingham, which it is not. It is in Rowley Regis or Halesowen (it is almost exactly on the border). I dont think the Black Country regulars will be happy to be relocated to Brum.
