| Decent boozer but not as good as it was I'm afraid. Range of ales is good and from some quite small breweries too but the quality hass dipped recently. Also the opening times seem to be a bit inconsistent. pan - 24 Oct 2008 14:20 |

| A hospitable pub which serves excellent real ales with which to wash down the reasonably priced and superb home-made food. Many of the 'regulars' have now gone on to the 'hostillery in the sky' and you will often wish that the lanky long-haired toffee-nosed scouse would join them (wink!!)
