Clientele certainly left something to be desired, good range of ales though and fast friendly service,7/10

I have been comming into this pub quite often just recently, and I find it quite a friendly little place.
The staff very helpful but the one thing I don't quite understand is the sudden appearence of candels arround the place, its as if someone has just died and its kind of like a chapel of rest with a bar in it.Also smoking out side the front door is quite off putting they should use the area provided at the rear of the pub.

A bit grimy, mad toothless old ladies and mad bearded old men. 2 pints of kronenbourg for under £4 though. Dunno if I would trust the food.
If you want "character" at wetherspoons prices this is your place.

The pub itself is allright, but as said before it is populated by Chav's and the ones that are terminally on sickness benefit, you know the ones they come to the pub on crutches put miraculously can skip around the pub without them.

It's a bit annoying when you come in for a drink after a week at work on a Saturday to find the place occupied by doley's and the Lazarus types.
