I'm not Aussie or Kiwi and i really enjoy this bar. Great Music, great atmosphere, nice staff and the beer tastes good. If you're in the area and in a group or 2-5 then its the better than pretty much anything in the area. You really wont regret it, as long as you're up for a few unusual conversations.

Just about better than Walkabout. Better staff and atmosphere. Prices a little steep though. Not a bad vibe, even for a Brit.
Can't say you feel to welcome when full of "locals", by which I mean Aussies.

Why the hell did I go here? Well, I had to meet someone there who clearly knew no better. It maybe “Belushi’s of Covent Garden” but someone went all the way Heathrow’s Terminal 2, extracted one of its boozers and placed it in the Bush. It has as much atmosphere as one of those mocked-up houses in the Ideal Home exhibition could muster and, of course, has no real beer either – just the usual overtly commercial ice-cold tasteless lagers/Guinness on tap. Still, it deserves praise for keeping its clients out of some of better pubs in the area.

£3.05 for a pint of Fosters is really takin the p!ss for serving p!ss! A good spot though, considering it's location and if you're feeling rather flush!

This is a great pub with a full on party atmosphere. I love it - if only cos you can walk in knowing noone, and leave having spoken to at least one bird you fancy. It can get a little rowdy when the Aussie Rules is on - but on a Friday night that's no bad thing. It does great Crown and VB, plus all the usual Aussie drinks like a good Bundy.

However - be aware that this bar runs the usual dodges that non-Londoners might like to look out for.

There are two types of menu running - there is the menu on the wall, and the menu in folded cards on the tables. They have items with identical titles - but different prices and content. If you complain that you've been short-menued, you'll be pointed at a different menu, and told "This is our menu now". It's worth asking for the manager at this point, as they will come out, and immediately appologise - knowing that they've been rumbled for this scam.

You should also check your change - there is the usual "pound short... oh sorry!" problem in common with many pubs in this area.

And - not that it effects you if you're just buying a round - but watch as the staff will always ring up one less pint on the till than you have paid for, but charge you for exactly what you should be charged. They log the "missing" pint on the till receipt beside the till on the left... You pay what you should do; and yet at the end of the night, the till balances perfectly. Odd, that.
