Very much a traditional old-style coaching inn that was once upon a time on the main Guildford/Woking to Windsor/Staines route. It looks like a character pub inside and out, it's conveniently located between the train station and town centre, and the staff are welcoming. I was surprised how quiet it was on a Friday night, but enjoyed my pint of Courage Best.

The madness of 'king George!!!!!!

Jesus h! This place is 'king scary, especially after key of ivory, waves of dimensia/nausea

Saw old boon in here. He was with morrisey, talk about men behaving madly, they were with a rich mans clunes. This pub could do with a bit of a refurb: about ninety seconds with a flamethrower should do it.

We visited this pub a week ago. It has been taken over by a nice young couple. We found it very friendly and will visit again.
