| The 'local' ale is apparently brewed by the owners wife in a micro brewery and was very nice. It is a hotel and i think the bar area and lounge lacks atmosphere as people tend to be waiting for tables etc and it appears to be void of locals but the beer was good and worth a visit to try a local brew. basa - 26 Nov 2010 18:13 |

| A nice location overlooking the Buttlands. Three ales, Adnams Bitter and Explorer and a 'Kiwi Beer' brewed especially for the Hotel, but I'm not sure who by and the Barman could not shed any light on this. Explorer was ok but nothing outstanding. Quite a nice Hotel, and a good place to eat it would seem. ahscum - 13 May 2010 16:56 |
