| Time to add a new review for the total revamp of this pub. It has been beautified toa gorgeous level whilst still retaining charm. The draught ales are good, although I'd always like to see some more choice. The food is very good and service lovely. More of a gastropub, but a different league to what was here before. | I thought that i would try this pub, for the first time, in the sixteen years i have lived in the area. This was sat 20th. Oh dear. not sure what the other comment is all about. hate to think what it was like before it improved. i have never been in a more dismal pub ever. staff seemed friendly ! food was to say the least very poor. steak was okay sort of, the rest was microwaved, even the desert, which most of it was inedible and was left. not much change out of �50.00. sorry, but this will be the first and last time that i go there.
