please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

A bit more, (hopefully useful), information about this Pub.

They do not cater for anyone under 14, this is apparently a decision taken based on the size and layout of the place and I can understand the reasoning.

A Freehouse, it is not open Sunday evenings or Mondays (Usually open B/Hols but best to phone and check)

They do not accept Cards

Very much a traditional country Pub.

I was wrong in my last review in saying that most of the tables are set for dining, they are only set-up when reserved, I'm told that drinkers do not get asked to move to allow for diners.

The Dobermann has a relaxed feel, it dos'nt do fast food, but good substantial, genuinely home cooked food which is very reasonably priced.

Used to be called the Greyhound but that was several years ago now, a small attractive pub, most of the interior is set for dining but the bar is well stocked and if you just want to enjoy a drink you won't be made unwelcome the Landlady is a treasure and theres usually a few drinkers at the bar who are willing include an unfamiliar face into the conversation, Beer is excellent.
