agree lugger,i run 2 punch leases,and only 16 hours a day i wished,but it did look a bit sus,yours laughing duck,wish you all the best.no rating given dont know the pub..... laughingduck - 4 Aug 2011 15:33
My dear laughingduck I am the landlord of the Lugger Inn. I can assure you that I did not write the comment below. It is true that my wife & I have just taken over the lugger but if you would care to take the time to read the comments from our last pub (The Russell Inn Polruan) I think you'll find that we strive to offer the best service available and that our customers value what we offer. In a time when so many pubs are being shut down I find it quite sad that some people have nothing better to do with their time than trawl the internet and valued sites like B.I.T.E writing comments about things that they have little or no understanding of, if indeed you have so much spare time on your hands may i suggest you try running a pub it's only 16hrs a day 7 days a week it may keep you out of mischief.I look forward to your expected rebuke. luggerlandlord - 3 Aug 2011 00:07
great review from the landlord/chef,see below. laughingduck - 30 Jul 2011 13:42
The pub has changed hands in July and the new landlord is a chef! Unbelievably good value food, beautifully cooked but in great demand I would definitely say book ahead! Fantastic family are now running the place. Felt very welcomed and at home. Great selection of on tap beers, ales lager and ciders etc. Came over once before last year and had been massively underwhelmed but can't praise the place highly enough now. melted21 - 30 Jul 2011 13:05
Old unspoilt pub with decent good value beer. Didn't eat there though, probably just as well after reading some of the comments! classic0904 - 10 Jun 2011 18:51
