please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Wouldnt use this pub again - Andy the duty manager treats good customers appallingly - he has no time for them and has a cant be bothered attitiude - the food has also gone down hill - the chef just doesnt seem with it.
The bar staff other than Andy are very welcoming however and are too good for this pub.

If i was you go elsewhere.

This is a good pub - well worth seeking out because it's off the beaten track, with plenty of local walks too work up a thirst! beer and food is good, good staff, and nice atmosphere. An occasional change of menu and it would be perfect!

Very well managed, approachable out-of-town pub in the outskirts of Chislehurst in a back street near to Kemnal Manor school. Ale was beautifully kept (Fullers Pride, Wells' Bombadier, Courage Best & Black Sheep Bitter were on when we visited). Food was reasonably priced for the area & the steak & ale pie was spot-on. Looks smallish from the outside but opens out into a decent sized pub with a conservatory for dining as well as two bar areas for drinking & eating & an open log fire heating both bars in those chilly winter months. Didn't get a look at the garden as it was dark but in a good quiet location if one does exist. Definately worth a look if you live fairly locally, one of Chislehurst's best.

A lovely pub - landlord always friendly and good beer (London Pride and Bombardier alongside the Courage dross). Excellent proper homemade food.
