| excellent food and very reasonably priced. a very enjoyable visit. staff were very friendly and welcoming of a muddy dog and 4 pairs of muddy boots !. Dogs only allowed in the bar, but that was fine for eating and drinking. Landord even reserved a table for us without us asking, when re rang earlier in the day. | Excellent food, ale and accommadation in this large, welcoming pub. Been here on several occasions over the years and have loved each visit.
