| We tried this pub as it's in 'Sawdays' and recommended by a neighbour. The menu (tiny blackboards) was off putting & badly written. The vegetarian selection was limited. The food was below average - my 'chilli pancake' was bland, a rolled up tortilla with a drizzle of chilli, for £10, overpriced. My husbands gammon was disappointing, we left most of our food. This is a great shame, the pub has a great reputation and the staff are friendly, but the food is dreadful and over priced. I am sorry to say, we won't go back. anonymous - 20 Jun 2007 16:41 |
