Description

The Woodman Claverley, is located on the famous'Rabbit Run' close to Bridgnorth and Wolverhampton and is now owned and run by brother and sister duo, Tim and Emma Hodgkinson who bring with them over 36 years of hospitality experience.
The Woodman is a pub first and foremost that happens to serve great food...Traditional favourites using fresh local produce served on quirky plates or wooden boards seem to be keeping the guests very happy. Why not team a Woodman Stack Club Sandwich with a Pint of Cask Ale or a Pan of Mussels with a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc or Home made Ice Cream with a glass of dessert wine? Fresh Fish and Steaks using beef reared on local farms feature on both the lunch and dinner menus....
Alfresco dining is a must in the lovely courtyard or in the garden overlooking the countryside.....
Booking is not essential but is advised....

An excellent place. The food is wonderful, the service is first class, particularly warm and welcoming. I would recommend this pub to everyone.

We has our wedding lunch at The Woodman and was totally blown away by the high standard of care and attention all staff gave to make our day special.

The food, and drinks selection is of very high standard and everything we've ever eaten there has been wonderful. Would highly recommend for just a passing drink, or for a 3 course meal.

Best pub in the area - by far!

The Woodman provides a warm welcoming experience. From the ease of parking, the neatly kept exterior and garden, the good choice of beer, the aroma of well priced, excellently prepared food. All polished off the the friendly hosts Tim, Emma and their team.

The Woodman is an absolute gem and one of the best places I have ever had the pleasure to dine in. The service is always fantastic, the food divine and ofcourse the bread - lovely! It is extremely rare for me to praise anywhere as much as this place and I highly recommend it to everyone. All my friends now go there and I have practically been living there myself. Everything about the Woodman is excellent and you are always guaranteed a warm welcome. The staff are all superb and huge compliments to the chef. I think Tim and Emma have done a truly fantastic job and they should be extremely proud of what they have achieved. I'm leaving to go overseas next week and cant wait to come back and enjoy another dining experience with the team.
