| Just visited this pub, have not been there for a long time, must say how much it has improved, the service was excellent, the food was great, it is nice to see how much effort the landlord and staff have put in, the Dog & Duck is a lovely pub, and i will definatley be visiting again. pubcrawler1987 - 25 Oct 2008 12:38 |
| Still a lovely setting out in the garden next to the pond but agree with some of the comments about the food since the new management took over. I asked for a cheese salad which wasn't on the menu but was found on the till as everything else I wanted on the menu was off. It was the smallest salad I've ever seen - a tiny pile of cheese - good job I'd ordered chips as well! It came up on a side plate so only assume it was a side salad but nothing was said and as we didn't get an itemised bill I'll never know as it'll be a while before we eat there again. wendyk - 28 Sep 2008 17:38 |
