| We visited this pub for Sunday lunch. Good Hall & Woodhouse beers and a varied menu with local produce. Restaurant could do with a refurbishment, the staff weren't the most welcoming and the Sunday Roast (£8.95) was of a poor quality - large enough but no flavour whatsoever. | Visited this place on a Sat. lunchtime. There is a small campsite attached and a large beer garden with BBQ setup, plenty of swings/roundabouts. The food in the pub was varied and made use of local produce, indicating where sausages were raised and lots of use of Dorset Blue Vinney, classic dorset cheese. | hi just stoped ta the 'knot' for a couple of days away. unberlevable! the food was out of this world, and the 4-poster room well!!!!! im a diabetic and was made welcome(landlord and chef both diabetic) we travel a lot and this is the best place we have ever stayed try it today bethanyrobson - 9 Nov 2007 08:17 |
