| Can't agree more with the previous favourable comments. This is a truly homely pub with very efficient and friendly bar staff with beer and draught cider kept well. | We had a couple of dinners here in the summer and immediately noticed the friendly atmosphere and appreciated the orginal and well prepared food. On the basis of this good experience I organised a family lunch for 16 people last Saturday. From the first contact right through to the enjoyment of the meal, with the help of chef Simon Edwards who prepared a superb and mouthwatering menu for us, it was a pleasure to deal with these people. | Lovely pub in a true village in the New Forest.We have yet to eat here but the menu and food we saw being served looked mouthwatering. The staff are very friendly and the interior is quaint with an abundance off 'potties' !! Great place musicjunkie - 7 May 2006 15:43 |
