| Thought it was a hotel when I walked in, the foyer gave that impression. Nicely furnished throughout, the staff were particularly helpful. Three real ales - Spitfire, Greene King IPA and Henrys IPA were available, I tried the latter and it was excellent. There is a small traditional bar area between the restaurant area and another tabled area which I presumed to be an extension of the bar with tables. I reckon the parsnip with cream soup was the best I'd ever tasted. Other menu items were very reasonably priced and other people's servings looked good. Well worth a return visit.
