going after the food lucnh crowd by the looks of it - new menu, knives&forks at the tabel etc - so just just a boozer anymore

i don't dislike the place and it's close to work...

Shut for a refurb at moment, apparently opening on Monday 28th Jan.

Always been a good pint in here and staff have always been very friendly and helpful.

We had a company do here last year and they catered for us very well, even though some of us were a 'bit' rowdy and 'thirsty' they could see people weren't out of control and in other places the management are sometimes a bit over zealous in that respect.

I only pop in from time to time generally but the staff always say hi and remember me, which is what you want in a boozer.

The london pride was excellent on my recent visit. Unlike many pubs in the area, one can usually get a seat.
This pub has working air conditioning, hardly needed with the summer we have had so far, but it was much appreciated last summer, and may well be needed any day now !
Intending smokers should be aware that smoking is NOT permitted at the "outside" tables. This is because the tables are not really outside but are under the roof of the Broadgate development.
