So-so bar on Upper Street. Nothing really stands out, but there's always plenty of room. Greshon - 2 Mar 2008 13:11
Wretchedly hip style bar. Utterly unmemorable and not one to go to if you actually want to taste a decent beer. JonW999 - 12 Nov 2007 21:34
Sure it looks pretty, but: 1) short pints 2) cocktails and spirits drowned in ice and mixer 3) more bouncers than bar staff (both equally surly though - all attitude and no service). 4) nowhere to sit, no atmosphere and unsurprisingly 5) very few customers. In short - avoid. wilmot - 8 Jul 2007 18:23
Walked past on Friday during the day and it was busy, why arent people at work?! Went in for a pint with a mate and ended up staying all night. Its smaller than I thought but my mate says there is an upstairs. Urinals are interesting! Unfortunately its got none of the wino-cum-violent-husbands you see huddling together in Weatherspoons; talking about Mylene Klass. Added to this was the disappointing lack of pool table, dart board and fulminating jukebox spewing out Madness: Greatest Hits. Everyone seems to drink cocktails here, another sign of the money people seem to have despite not working on Fridays. :-( anonymous - 15 Apr 2007 12:29
Nice. First went to this pub after a match up the road, and although there were a few of my fellow fans there, the atmosphere didn't suffer at all. Interesting decor, OK-ish beers (if you like lager) and decent staff. Big thumbs up. burnsy - 14 Feb 2007 14:04
