| crap. we chanced it as friends live about 4 doors away. beer was cheap and good qual. staff were bored, other customers were interesting in the strangest way and one old geezer pissed himself while standing at the bar. will wander further away next time The_Pub_Inspector - 3 Jul 2009 20:23 |
| As Wetherspoons go, this is one of the best. Usual range of beers and food. It is not too difficult to get served. The customers are not the real hard case career drinkers and you can usually get a seat. So, an inexpensive place to visit. It is not a great barn either and surroundings are pleasant. They even had the rugby on TV during the Six Nations. You could watch or sit in a different area of the pub and not be disturbed.
