| Well, I'm glad gowerglyn enjoys the Pub atmosphere here, but I'm afraid I cannot agree with him. I was there last week, and I stick by what I wrote earlier, I was with a couple of friends from Pennard, and they agree about the place too. They only use it as a last resort to meet people, and on the night we we there, it was empty, and had absolutely NO atmosphere at all, bit like a Doctors waiting room in fact !!!..... | Food is pretty good; beer ok. tables and furniture needs a revamp; greasy varnish feel. uninspiring interior staff were mucking around with customers, shouting , etc, was a bit offputting.Place could be improved, outside garden unpleasant quafferman - 16 May 2010 14:43 |
| DuncanDisorderly is talking a load of rubbish, I'm local and I regularly go to the Beaufort for a pint as do many of my neighbours. Lovely atomsphere and the food has always been nice when I've eaten there. There is a good selection of ales and the quiz is a good laugh. gowerglyn - 21 Apr 2010 11:46 |
| I recently visited Beaufort arms, was very impressed with the pub in general, great atmosphere and great range of Ales to choose from , i have been back to it many times as an after surfing drink. the food is reasonably priced and you never have to wait too long for it to arrive, the staff are always friendly, no queries with it, recomend it to anyone passing through Kittle. mark522569 - 3 Aug 2009 00:24 |
| I was on a holiday touring around the coast of Wales when I first wandered into the Beaufort arms, and its the only pub that I've visited that I've been back to. There is such a friendly atmosphere, despite the fact that the pub has always been quite busy the staff are incredibly polite and always made time to had a chat. The locals, who contrary to the previous reviews love the pub, are also very friendly and were very keen to help me with some advice about the local area. The food, both times I have visited the Beaufort Arms the food has been absolutely outstanding and I've never had to wait long for the impeccable service. The second time I visited the Beaufort Arms was a Monday night which is the quiz night at about 2000 the pub filled to capacity with locals who come every monday for the quiz. It was amazing fun. I look forward to my next visit!! Vrael - 3 Aug 2009 00:07 |
