Back here two years on from my previous post. dwill's post of 10 December sums it up! What a shame! Malve - 28 Apr 2011 14:31
Was a really good local, 2 years and 4 landlords ago. Now caters for the all day lager drinkers. dwill - 10 Dec 2010 21:26
Three Wadworth real ales on offer all the time - Strong In The Arm, 6X, Henry's IPA, and a 4th seasonal real ale currently Swordfish. Guest real ale programme commences January 2011 so a weekly change of guest ale will be on offer. Live music every Saturday. Sunday lunches served 12 till 3pm. pubgod101 - 8 Nov 2010 17:43
How things have changed in the couple of years since my last visit. Not as many ales, nowhere near as friendly. Went in twice for the benefit of the doubt. Wont bother again. ppw - 27 Oct 2010 11:15
| While I was on a weekend break in Tewkesbury my partner & I popped into the Berkeley for a Sunday special roast dinner which cost an amazing £6pp including a drink! We sat in the small room at the back of the pub which can be accesed via the side alley. You could have beef, pork or lamb. The service with a smile from the young lady behind the bar was prompt & efficient & in no time the meal was on the table served piping hot.The chef also made an apperance & asked if we required more gravy. The lamb was tender served with roast potatoes,a massive home cooked yorkshire pudding plus a separate dish containing SEVEN cooked vegetables The meal was outstanding & absoluteley delicious. The chef & barmaid/waitress are a credit to the Berkeley & the Sunday Roast is highly recommended.
