| Currently closed, but due to open soon as another S.A.Brains Pub in the area. The horrible burgundy colour, the outside of it is being painted at the moment looks dreadful. Wonder what type of clientelle they are expecting to attract !!!!!....... DuncanDisorderly - 12 Jul 2009 21:51 |
| Yep, certainly agree with the comment below, this Pub has gone to the Dogs lately, and is not even worth a visit nowdays. Perhaps they will buck their ideas up when the new Spinning Wheel opens in Sketty, and challenges their captive audience " Food Trade " trade....... DuncanDisorderly - 21 Sep 2008 23:38 |
| was one of the best pubs in swansea with a good mixed clientele.then Brains refurbed painted the outside a horrible colour and drove most of the regulars out. This seems to be policy in many of their tarted up pubs. What has happened to community spirit? Not recommended, come back Mr Snowball! | "No one else has complained today". Classic. They obviously did yesterday and will do tomorrow. Why is it called the Vivian anyway? rainlight - 12 Jun 2008 16:01 |
| Wish I could agree with that previous comment having recently eaten here, probably the worst meals we have had in a Pub for a long time. The Chilli was so full of Salt we took it back, only to be told " No one else has complained today "....and you just could not cut the Steak as it was so undercooked, again to be told by the Staff, " You asked for it to be medium rare ".....When asked what they were going to do about the quality of the meals, we were told to leave it, if we didn't like it.......So we did, and left. Terrible Food, Terrible Staff. Terrible Pub.....what other reason do you need NOT to go there..... DuncanDisorderly - 6 Feb 2007 10:44 |
