Very friendly service and excellen service from what can be an unpredictable company pub. Visied this pub on quite a few occasions and have never been disappointed. Has a good turn-around of guest ales - ensuring that they're always in top condition! Recommended! pub_browser - 14 Aug 2008 11:39
Typical of the chain, but still clean and good priced ales. Worth drinking in if your in Caversham but not sure I would go out of my way to drink there. raylee - 29 Jul 2007 10:22
Reminds me of an Airport Departure Lounge. If you're the sort of person who considers McDonalds a restaurant, then you probably consider this a pub. Full of the rich residents of Caversham drinking cheap beer and eating "two for the price of one" microwaved meals, too tight to use their local pub. You'll never bump into Tim Martin here. pubinspectors - 28 Jul 2007 21:09
I completely disagree with the previous contributer about the beer. It is some of teh best in town, and also the best value. The food is very good value. It is obviously a chain pub, but it is a pleasabnt enough place for a drink of an evening. spiky_mikey - 8 Jun 2007 11:55
Not a very nice place- Floor area by the bar sticky with "drink?" and thats at 7.pm. Beer condition poor and very limited range of other drinks. It may be company policy but why are the staff dressed like Viet Cong infantry? The "atmosphere" is unpleasant and the layout reminded me of a works canteen. You need to be drunk before you go in, not to start the evening. anonymous - 13 May 2007 09:39
