| This was the best of the 11 pubs we tried on Saturday. It's in a nice rural location and consists of 2 rooms - a public bar and a lounge/restaurant. There are plenty of items around to keep your attention occupied whilst you enjoy a pint. These include toby jugs above the bar and a few pop music items on the walls. Although the red lighting makes it a little dingy. Beers on were Hook Norton Hooky Bitter, Adnams Bitter, Sharps Doom Bar & Purity Mad Goose. | Agree with the previous comments, a decent busy but friendly pub serving 4 real ales and a selection of fruit wines as well as the usual stuff. Good pub food too which (as with the beer) is fairly, but not cheaply, priced. Very welcoming log fire in the lounge in winter, and benches to sit outside in the summer.
