| Agree with the previous comments, a decent busy but friendly pub serving 4 real ales and a selection of fruit wines as well as the usual stuff. Good pub food too which (as with the beer) is fairly, but not cheaply, priced. Very welcoming log fire in the lounge in winter, and benches to sit outside in the summer. | Visited 03 Sep 05. 4 real ales on tap, and a selection of fruit wines. The Dorothy Goodbody's Golden Ale was in good condition, and bar staff were helpful. The menu offered basic food, but as it was fairly priced and cooked well, there are no grumbles on that point.
