| Its a Beefeater so you get what you get. The A446 makes a restful change from the motorways around Birmingham these days - it used to be the primary route and a nightmare - and this pub is indeed useful for a half hour's break if you're passing, the next one north towards Lichfield is a fair stretch away. nickdavies - 29 Dec 2007 12:25 |
| went for a meal for my daughters 20th birthday. she came all the way from North Devon. Staff were ok but the meal was atrocious. cold food over cooked steaks. on the whole bad experience will not be going back anonymous - 19 Aug 2007 16:04 |

| Similarly bad experiance, with what i wouldnt describe as large group (9 people). cant fault the staff, very pleasent and apologetic when we eventually complained. managment did not show their face. not using again fluffy - 27 Apr 2005 00:49 |
