Nice little back street pub, very small inside but has a dartboard .Good selection of real ales and the new owners seem very nice and are giving it a real go. good luck to them.

With so many of Bushey Heaths pubs closing in recent years its pleasing that this one remains, and deservedly so. Its a bit off the beaten track, which can sometimes be an advantage, but its worth making the effort to pay a visit. Youll find a genuine community pub with some character and a sense of history. Its nicely decorated with old prints of the local area and theres a bookcase with a little reading matter including back copies of the Good Beer Guide. Three pumps were on when I visited and I had a couple of decent pints of Black Sheep, London Pride and Abbot were the others I believe. Beer garden with tables at the back which is partly covered.

i was not sure about going here, as i had read the reviews first, but got caught short one afternoon, and dicided to go in.
well it is nothing like the reviews mentioned on here, i really like it, the landlady is very nice, and will chat to you and make you feel at home.
The food was good, the customers are ok, and i will come back again.
They have a long list of ales and beer, and another pub i can take my dogs.
Very Happy

Yes Bushey is depressing for pubs. This was another pretty poor beer quality, average scruffy boozer inside. Go to the Red Lion, beer better, cheaper, just the same old scruffy interior.
