| its clean and contemporary inside, but this place lacks any real charm or character. its a standard middle class identi-kit pub. the building itslef is very nice, but the interior is straight out of fullers marketing guidlines. the beers are decent, the food looks good. in the summer the views out the front onto the chiltern hills are wonderfull, untill a car flys past on the A413 two meters in front of you. overall nothing bad, but nothing special. | Just passing by last night and decided to stop for a drink and something to eat. Staff were fantastic, pub very nice and food and drink were superb could not fault it at all . Will definetly return even though it is about 15 miles away. eltel - 24 Apr 2011 19:24 |

| EXCELLENT!! Has a great selection of real ales, which are constantly changing so you get to try a different one each time you come in. Wonderful staff, superb cuisine, and great atmosphere.
