| Been using this pub most weekends for a couple of years now and have to say what an excellent place it is. Good choice of real ales that are always in perfect condition. Friendly, very traditional a great place to go all year round. Shocked to hear it's been omitted from the good beer guide for 2012, this due to no one nominating it. | Excellent pub tip top beer and a good range that changes regularly. Good location on the canal and pleasant beer garden. Food lets it down a bit and the staff are not always exactly enthusiastic but nevertheless the best pub in the village pubman56 - 7 Nov 2011 17:49 |
