A fine place for that Sunday roast with the family. The usual McMullens beers in good condition and efficient and friendly staff. Not really the sort of pub just to go for a drink.

This is my favourite pub close to home. They are a McMullens pub, with decent real ales. They have a carvery for Sunday lunch which we have enjoyed on several occasions.

It's a large-ish "family friendly" pub so some may be put off by that, but I like being able to have a quiet drink in a traditional unpretentious atmosphere.
