| What a disappointment. A year or so back we had a great night in this pub; good beer, a friendly and entertaining landlord, an interesting menu and really good food and a good local feel to this village pub. The meal I have just had was about the worst I have had in Cornwall. Vegetables straight from the tin or freezer, instant mash, even the lemon slice on the trout was spoiled by having gone through the microwave before serving, and a rather dull menu. It was embarrassing for us with our German guests to subject them to this.
