| Something of a throwback, you could imagine that this place hasn't changed since the Sixties. Ordinary beer, Bombardier, Spitfire, Hen and Batemans XXXB none of which was great. Entertainment was so bad it was good with Frankie and Friends, a short bloke in a bowler hat accompanied by an accordion, and "Female Impersonator" Jo-Anna Dawes. | Great pub, away from the front so avoids the stag and hen crowwds, food was average, staff are friendly, entertainment weekends and the quiz on a Tuesday night is always good for a laugh. longthorne - 11 Aug 2007 12:25 |
