Had a very poor pint of Batemans Rosey Nosey on when I went at the beginning of the year, it was warm and slighty cloudy. Barmaid seemed to have no communications skills. Not a place I'd rush back too!

Not happy with the 'Wick. Have visited twice in recent weeks and it seems a case of a previously good pub gone downhill in pursuit of a quick buck. No real ales, poorly kept keg beers (Carling, Fosters etc) and a general feeling that the place needs a bit of care from a proper pub custodian rather than trying to make cash trading on past reputation when the pub was ran well by enthusiastic and skillful landlords..

They have Italian 'SKY' tv which hardly works and has no commentary so there goes an end to the busy nights for big sporting occasions.

Sad demise

Beer is ok - usually has Black Sheep Best and Wells' Bombardier on. Otherwise, the usual array of commercial lagers and spirits at ok prices.

A bit lifeless and isn't the most welcoming of places during a week night.

OK for watching the footy and a cheap pint

Not bad at all. Not in the Good Beer Guide 2009, but I certainly had no complaints about the pint I had in there.

This pub is no longer in the Good Beer Guide after one or more changes of landlord/tenant in the last couple of years. Beer range is much reduced as is the quality. Good place to watch football due to the big screens, but no longer worth calling in for the beer.
