T&S ain’t certainly what they used to be. Five beers but the usual suspects – Landlord, Black Shite sorry Sheep, Wells’ something or other, Everard’s Tiger and “guest” Ruddles bitter. Can’t comment of beer quality as we didn’t stop – might as well walk 5 minutes further/less to the Valley or Cellars. Richardhuddleston - 14 Sep 2010 12:59
Used to be a good pub years back now a VERY expensive place to drink £3.05 for a pint of Landlord? And not well kept either!! BAZNPAT - 8 Apr 2010 15:29
Called in and found they have stopped selling Old Rosie. Expected us to have Stowford Press instead. We left & found the W'spoon has Rosie. What a shame after coming here for 15 years when in the area - a Sunday routine of a pint, over the road to the eat-all-you-like Chinese, back for 2 more pints. Not any longer. jgurney1 - 14 Mar 2010 13:03
I've been told that the Tap has stopped selling Old Rosie and has had a character-spoiling makeover! Is it true? jgurney1 - 16 Dec 2009 18:08
Excellent pub. Good choice of beers on, the ones we had were kept in excellent condition. Excellent Sunday lunch for £2.99. Friendly bar staff. Roberttherailway - 1 Sep 2009 18:54
