| Nice pub,visited because of it`s award for good beer,friendly welcome and nice suroundings the food had been recommended so booked a table for that evening 45 minute wait for the food, steak and guiness pie the size of a buffet pork pie about a dozen chips in a wine reduced gravy no veg but a nice leaf on top, had a pizza on the way home.Not good value at all in my opinion but nothing wrong with the beer charcy - 12 Oct 2010 16:48 |
| What a transformation! New tenants have taken over and they have turned this pub around over night. Now warm welcoming and friendly and, within 6 days of opening the new landlord had achieved his caskmaster award!! Great news for serious beer drinkers! dragoness - 21 Dec 2009 09:56 |
