| Sat outside to take advantage of the good weather but interior looked recently refurbished and OK. Both staff behind bar were friendly and welcoming and keen to sign me up for Mc Mullens Loyalty card. Pint of AK and pint of Country were OK as most of McMullens beers are - never excellent, but rarely bad. Located on a main road into Waltham Abbey amongst residential area. | An isolated place on a hill painted bright yellow! Alot of teens at weekends who can't usually behave and a lack of staff make this open-planned, pool-tabled pub one to avoid if possible. Cody - 15 Oct 2004 20:14 |
