| I have just been appointed as new Kitchen Manager for The Old Farmhouse, and I am aware that there has been problems in the past which I will do my upmost to correct, including waiting times & food quality. | Nice refit but otherwise dire. My beer was flat, my food had been sitting under the hot plate for quite some time and woudn't have been great n the first place. My wifes fishcakes were cold, no doubt because they were frozen. Had to ask to get the high chair cleaned (two available, both dirty). Staff indifferent. Garden? a piece of grass on the main road. | Alright pub in totton, 1 of my local haunts. Good crowd and friendly bar staff even if the manager is strict about closing time. Food there is also fairly good and a pretty good selection of all the usual drinks. SouthCoast - 27 Mar 2008 12:20 |
