user reviews of The Crockerton, Cardiff

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Had a very good experience in this Wetherspoons.
Popped in around 6ish on a thursday night, and could'nt quite believe the prices in here.
They had an offer on a pint of Strongbow was 1.50 and a 125ml glass of wine was 99p!
In 2012 these prices are insane!
The place was fairly quiet though. My curry club meal was excellent and the ice cream for dessert was huge and the best ever and only for an extra 1.99!

Forget other pubs although a little boring inside wetherspoons rule.

Temperature of the pub as cold as the lagers. One of the few JDW establishments I have visited which is not interested in real ale.

Very disappointing, we visited here on Bank holiday Monday for a drink and some food, the girl at the bar, albeit friendly, got my food order wrong, first of all, i noticed that the meal seemed rather expensive, then i realised i had been charged for two portions of corn on the cob instead of one, i returned to the bar, and mentioned this, and showed the girl what i wanted again, she then gave me a refund, then when the food arrived, we STILL recieved two portions of corn on the cob, i had also been given the wrong panini, when i returned to the bar to mention this, i was told, "that's what you ordered!"

Then the bowl in which the onion rings were served was very badly chipped. overall a bit of a let down, shall definitely rethink about visiting again.
