| Frequented by crazy old-timers and with permanent rotating real ales ( 4 or 5 always), low prices and a clean, orderly environment with excellent service. This pub is the unsung hero of the real ale scene in St.Helens. But that's okay by me, the less people know about this oasis the better. The only downside is the toilet is a bit crap. | Newly-refurbished one room bar in converted factory,this is an oasis in the desert for St Helens, a town centre not renowned for the quality of its pubs.
