This pub really is a hidden gem. It has everything a pub should have, great atmosphere, jukebox, mixed crowd and the bottled beer is at perfect temperature. The staff are friendly and efficient. This pub has now become my local.

At £2.65 for a pint of black sheep 3.8% its vastly overpriced compared to a lot of excellent pubs on the manchester real ale scene, choice of only the one real ale also, certainly not worth visiting for value or choice.

Great little City pub in a developing area. On a recent business trip to Manchester I spent a pleasant afternoon in here during an ‘off-site strategic planning meeting”. Very welcoming and decent beer.

Doesnt get particlarly rammed most of the time...It does look pretty wierd in its position next to the modern offices on the street...but worth a look in.
