Went to this pub for a family occasion last week; despite having booked, we had to wait over an hour for a table. A Sunday Roast at £9 contained just one slice of meat, no sauce available. A large glass of wine was served in a tumbler (We've run out of glasses)! Oh Dear. What used to be a nice country pub has really gone downhill. patrickbaker - 6 Oct 2007 15:05
Since comments previous to this, this pub has been taken over by Chef & Brewer, and ruined. Food was barely acceptable, service was so bad I was prompted to post a review on some random website! RichNewman - 17 Jun 2007 22:45
Fantastic food, eaten in a very sunny pub garden - pure bliss anonymous - 12 May 2006 16:28
Excellent pub - if you're on a girls night out and don't mind a bit of a trek it's great - at least you don't get hassled by drunk guys and the menu is suberb. cindydoll - 21 Apr 2006 12:24
the fox inn at boars hill is a simply super public house, although some of the locals were a bit funny anonymous - 3 Feb 2005 12:29
