| The best pub out of 11 we visited in Bedfordshire last Saturday. Whilst it was fairly quiet (they were soon to close for the afternoon), the barman/landlord was extremely friendly and professional. | Good locals pub that made us feel very welcome on a number of visits while staying nearby. Good beer and also does lunchtime food. Only open for a few hours at lunchtime and closes for the afternoon even on busy sunny weekend days ppw - 19 Feb 2008 14:37 |
