| I called in the other evening with a friend for a meal. This pub has recently under gone a refurbishment. It had 4 Greene King beers on draught and I chose the St Edmunds. They also had five lagers and an Orange Wheat beer called Blue Moon which I also tried. The food was very good and there is an extensive menu. | Curiously,I 've been a local all my life,but i never seem to even consider this pub. I've been in a few times over the years.you could do alot worse in Bury I suppose. Reputedly the most expensive pub in Bury for many years?But i suspect that this has now lost this accolade to one of the many pretentious wine-bars that are opening in the area.
