| Visited this pub October 2006 with my husband. The food was generally good especially the puddings, which hallealujah are all home made, none of this bought in rubbish. The waiter was attentive, but then again this was a slow Tuesday evening, whether that would be the same on a busy weekend who knows. I would eat here again and hope that this local continues to develop and improve its menu without overpricing. Whether it was just our waiter or other staff members too, he didn't come across as knowing the menu that well and perhaps some staff training in this area would be beneficial all round, punters like to know that the staff know what they're doing, call us fickle, but hey. calina - 2 Nov 2006 09:18 |
| The food was OK but no where near the standard you would expect from a supposed 'Gourmet Chef'. The staff didn't seem to have a clue what was going on and service was terrible. In how many restaurants do you have to get up and get your own drinks?? I was very dissatisfied and asked to speak to the manager who was very patronising. He didn't seem at all interested in my comments and rather was trying to palm me off. I wouldn't go to this pub again unless I was told that they had improved dramatically. I went to this pub 15th Aug '06. pfw - 17 Aug 2006 16:52 |
